Recessed light fixture for remodel construction. Thermally protected, air seal, IC (insulation contact), or non-IC rated recessed housing. For fast installation in existing plaster or mechanical ceilings from 1/2 inch to 1-1/4 inch thick. Remodel clips are easily retractable for fixture removal if necessary. Adjustable socket mounting plate, junction box is provided with (3) 1/2 inch conduit knockouts. Fixture is UL (Underwriter's Laboratories) dual listed for use with or without direct contact with thermal insulation, for through-branch circuit wiring and damp location use. Fixture may be converted to non-IC for higher wattages by removing 1 label. This housing meets WSEC (World Sustainable Energy Coalition) requirements without the need for additional gaskets or trims. Ceiling opening 5-1/16 inch.
Baffle trim for use with recessed fixture. Requires (1) R20 or PAR20 light bulb, not included. Compatible with incandescent, PAR20 LED (light emitting diode) or R20 CFL (compact fluorescent) bulb.
